CONTROVERSIAL INIS MOR LEVIES PASSED

The controversial new bye-laws for two harbours in Inis Mor have been passed with amendments by the County Council.
There will be an annual 5 euro charge for multiple passenger journeys and the cargo charges have been dropped.
Up to 300 islanders protested outside County Buildings yesterday in advance of the vote on the harbour charges at the monthly council meeting
