Contract awarded for city roadworks

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A contract has been awarded by Galway City Council for a number of roadworks in the city. John Madden and Sons Limited was successful in securing the contracts for pavement renewal totalling over 1100 meters. 410 meters are to be renewed on the Seamus Quirke Road with a further 410 meters to be strengthed between Whitestrand and Fr. Griffin Road, while 308 meters are to be renewed on the Wellpark Road. The works are expected to begin shortly.
