CONSTRUCTION WORKERS PROTEST AT NUI GALWAY
Date Published: 01-Nov-2012
A group of 40 construction workers and trade union repas have gathered outside a building at NUI Galway in Newcastle
The protest at the entrance to the Arts Millennium building is over claims that they've been denied acces to a publically funded project on campus
They claim this is contrary to industry custom and prevents the union from ensuring REAs or Registered Employment Agreements are complied with
The group is holding placards saying 'Fair Play for all Construction Workers'
