Concerns over plans for temporary helicopter landing pad in city
Galway bay fm newsroom - A city councillor says she has serious concerns about plans for a temporary helicopter landing facility at Shantalla in the city.
The proposal for 6 months is to facilitate the construction of a two tier car park at University Hospital Galway.The proposal is expected to be debated and voted on at a meeting of the local authority this evening.A public meeting about the plans took place at the Shantalla community centre yesterday.Councillor Collette Connolly says she questions the validity of spending a quarter of a million euro on a temporary facility..
