Closure order served on East Galway take away
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has closed 15 food businesses across the country, including one in East Galway, as a result of breaches of food safety regulations.
The Village Kitchen take-away in Kilkerrin was served its closure order under the EC Official Control of Foodstuffs Regulations 2010.Closure Orders are served where where they is a grave and immediate danger to public health.Dr Bernard Hegarty of the FSAI says most of the breaches nationwide could have been avoided.
