Minister Quinn says Clifden bucked the national trend.

He was speaking as he met with staff and students of the school as the Leaving Cert results were handed out today.

Minister Quinn says a change in the way points are allocated will have to be considered.

He will spend the rest of the week holidaying in Roundstone.
