A decision about a development, which it's hoped will boost tourism in Claregalway, is due in the coming weeks.
Claregalway Historical and Cultural Society has applied for planning permission to renovate a derelict cottage and shed at Rooaunmore.
The group hopes to use it as a carpenter's museum and interpretive centre for the local area.
