Claregalway families affected by the 2009 flooding disaster are meeting Junior Finance Minister Brian Hayes this afternoon to discuss re-location.

It comes as several families from the area are taking a case to Europe to seek redress and compensation from Galway County Council.

Earlier Minister Hayes officially re-opened the bridge in Claregalway.

It's part of a 8 million euro scheme of mitigation measures to reduce flooding from the Clare River.
