CITY WATER SUPPLY GETS THE ALL CLEAR

The city's water supply has finally been given the all clear by the Enviromental Protection Agency.The EPA gave the all-clear in relation to the lead contamination issue which affected many homes in the city.Measures put in place since the cryptosporidium outbreak in 2007 have been successful in rendering the water safe.Works will now begin on a new water intake location and a possible further upgrade of the Terryland Water Treatment Plant.
