CITY TO HOST INTERNATIONAL GENETIC CONFERENCE

International experts from all over the world will descend on Galway next week for a conference on genetic discrimination.

Discrimination occurs when people are treated differently by employers or insurance companies because of a gene mutation that causes or increases the risk of an inherited disorder.

The event is being part organised by the Centre for Disability Law and Policy at NUI Galway and takes place at NUIG on the 19th of November.
