CITY PUBLIC MEETING ON GALWAY BAY FISH FARM

A public meeting on plans for a fish farm in Galway bay takes place in the city this week.(31/01)

Bord Iascaigh Mhara is applying for a deep sea farming licence at a site roughly 6km off Inis Oírr.

The meeting, organised by the Galway green party, will be chaired by former minister for communications, energy and natural resources Eamon Ryan.

It will be held in the Nuns Island Theatre this Thursday evening at 8.
