City officials assess tenders for Ballinfoille project
Galway bay fm newsroom - City officials are now assessing six tenders for the Ballinfoille community centre project. The deadlines for applications closed on Friday.
The project is valued at 3.2 million euro and is expected to take around 12 months. It'll consist of a community centre and a series of community meeting rooms. The development is to be located on a site on the Headford Road acquired by the city council and will serve the community of Ballinfoille and Castlegar. A spokesperson for the local authority says it's hoped work will commence next year.
