CITY MAN DIES AFTER ROAD CRASH

A city man in his 50s has died following a road crash on the Tuam Road.
The single vehicle crash happened around half past nine just beforeTwo Mile Ditch, on the turn off to Roadstone.
It's understood the car hit a wall.
The man in his mid 50s, with a city address was taken to University Hospital Galway.
The road is currently closed from Flemmings roundabout as Gardai continue a technical examination of the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area or follow signposted diversions.
