CITY COUNCIL CONFIRMS SHELVING OF BODKIN ROUNDABOUT PLANS

Galway city Council has confirmed that plans to remove the roundabout near the Galway shopping centre will not go ahead until after the Summer.

Work to convert the Bodkin roundabout on the Headford road into a fully signalised junction was due to begin yesterday. (April 2)

However, the contractor pulled out of the project in the last week.
