CALL FOR ACTION ON WILLIAMSTOWN UNFINISHED ESTATES

The condition and volume of unfinished housing estates in Williamstown is causing huge concern in the local community.
That's according to Galway East Fine Gael TD Paul Connaughton, who says that almost one in ten of all unfinished estates in the county is based in the North East Galway village.
Five of the estates in Williamstown are exempt from the newly introduced household tax due to their unfinished status.
Deputy Connnaughton says action is now needed to address the housing conditions in these areas.
