Boyracers are causing problems in Loughrea town

Gardai are warning these young drivers to have consideration for local residents following a series of disturbances in the town car park.

One such incident took place in Long Point Car park last night where a number of boy racers caused a disturbance to neighbouring residents.

Gardai say attempts are now being made to stem the activity and the area will now be regularly monitored.
