BALLINASLOE TOWN COUNCIL VOTES FOR REVISED ENHANCEMENT PLAN
Date Published: 09-Nov-2011
A four hour meeting of Ballinasloe Town Council last evening voted by 5 votes to 3 for a revised version of the proposed town enhancement plan.
The councillors were also confronted by about 150 protestors as they went to make the controversial decision.
The amendment allows for maintaining the streets as they are and for no further planting of trees.
The next step involves the redrawing of the revised plan for council approval.
