ARMY BOMB DISPOSAL SQUAD ATTEND CITY HOUSING ESTATE

The army bomb disposal unit say a call out to a housing estate in the city this morning has been declared a hoax.

The team attended a housing estate in Ballybane after 10 this morning following reports of a suspicious object in the area.

Galway Gardaí are investigating.
