ALMOST 6 THOUSAND CITY HOMES YET TO PAY HOUSEHOLD CHARGE

Almost 6 thousand city households have yet to pay the household charge.

The city now has the second highest compliance rate of all local authorities in the country at 78 percent, representing over 21 thousand homes out of a total of 27 thousand liable households.

Galway City has been beaten off the top spot in the compliance table by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown.
