ALMOST 180 THOUSAND EURO FOR SUPPORT GROUPS IN GALWAY

Almost 180 thousand euro has been granted to community groups in Galway to provide marriage, child and bereavement counselling services.Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Mary Hanafin has announced the funding as part of a 3.5 million euro allocation nationwide.The largest allocation of 50 thousand euro goes to Galway Family Services Institute Ltd.Other groups to benefit from the funds include, Galway Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cope, Aids West Galway and Solas Family Resource Centre.
