ABBEYKNOCKMOY FLOOD TRENCH NEARING COMPLETION

In Abbeyknockmoy, locals are less than an hour away from finishing a trench to divert flooding away from 10 houses.
Over 100 volunteers from the area worked through the night, filling sandbags and bringing trawlers to locations that were flooded.
Two families were also evacuated from their homes.
