400 THOUSAND EURO FOR SOUTH GALWAY FLOOD RELIEF

Almost four hundred thousand euro is to be made available for South Galway flood relief works.
The funds will be used to repair and construct under-road drains and the repair of the masonry arch bridge at Kiltartan.
A special high powered pump will be purchased to deal with flash flooding on Crowe St. in Gort at a cost of over 32 thousand euro.
The funds are to be made available immediately and work will commence in the coming weeks.
