The decision to close the company, which has workers in seven Gaeltacht regions, was made at a board meeting in Claregalway yesterday.
The company came to its decision after management company MAZARS advised the board to cease trading immediately.
MFG has been in existence for more than 20 years and offers assistance to many start up companies, organisations and groups in the Gaeltacht regions.
