200 MORE JOBS FOR GALWAY

An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny officially opened a new gaming facility in Galway city in the past hour, announcing an extra 200 jobs.

Electronic Arts - or EA - announced plans for its Irish operation at Parkmore, known as Bio Ware Ireland, last year with an expected staff of 200.

However a further 200 jobs have been announced today.

Meanwhile, professional services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers says it's recruiting for staff in Galway.

The majority of the 300 jobs on offer will be in Dublin, however PwC says positions are also available in Galway, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford.
