20 new TUS positions for South East Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom – 20 new Tús positions have been announced for South East Galway. Galway Rural Development is allocating a new supervisor and 20 additional Tús workers to the Portumna, Woodford and Shragh areas. The programme is a community-based work placement scheme providing working opportunities for the unemployed. Local Fianna Fail Councillor Anne Rabbitte hopes more job incentive schemes will follow.
