11 Outstanding groups and individuals to receive Galway Rehab awards
Galway bay fm newsroom - 11 groups and individuals will receive Rehab Galway People of the Year Awards tonight. (1/11)
The ceremony takes place at the Galway Bay Hotel and will be broadcast live here on Galway Bay fm from 9.30 to 10.30p.m.
Among this years Rehab People of the Year award winners is Ballymacward Hall Committee for refurbishing and revitalising the facility.
Áine and Mary Booth and Lisa Landers from Caltra will receive the award for organising a 30k charity cycle and generating awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
The Friends of Belarus North Galway Group will also receive the accolade for improving the lives of orphaned children.
