11 hundred Galway jobseekers avail of JobBridge scheme
Over 11 hundred Galway jobseekers have participated in the JobBridge national internship scheme since its introduction.
The Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton is now urging more companies throughout the West to engage with the scheme.
Figures provided by the Department of Social Protection show that 413 internships are now underway in Galway.
722 Galway interns have already completed the programme.
The scheme was launched in June 2011 to help jobseekers gain work experience and acquire new skills.
