Julie Hesmondhalgh and Roberto “Pico” Lopes will also join Patrick Kielty this Friday night

Tomorrow's Late Late Show will celebrate Ciara Mageean’s remarkable life and legacy.

Ciara’s friends and fellow athletes Ellen Keane and Thomas Barr will join Patrick to pay tribute and remember her as one of Ireland’s most beloved sports stars.

Soap legend Julie Hesmondhalgh, best known for her role as Hayley Cropper on Coronation Street, will chat about her meteoric rise and fall on this year's Celebrity Traitors in the UK.

She'll also discuss her groundbreaking role as the first transgender character on Coronation Street, life after leaving the cobbles behind, and why a previous visit to Ireland was her first real taste of fame.

The man who went toe-to-toe with Messi, Roberto “Pico” Lopes, will talk to Patrick about his incredible summer living the dream with the Cape Verde team in the World Cup, Shamrock Rovers’ championship success and how he keeps his feet on the ground back home with his family.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) campaigner Emma Fogarty will join Patrick to talk about her forthcoming documentary The Slightest Touch. The film follows Emma and her longtime friend, actor Colin Farrell, as they embark on the challenge of completing the Dublin Marathon together, raising over one million euro for Debra Ireland.

Emma will talk about her memories of this epic endeavour, her extraordinary friendship with Colin, and how she feels about their story being released around the world.

Cork comedian Chris Kent will join us straight from the stage of the 3Arena. He'll chat to Patrick about his new documentary, which followed his attempts to navigate life without the internet, and his new tour which brings his comedy all around Ireland.

As well as this, Patrick will meet the man who nearly beat the world number one darts star Luke Littler, Cavan’s Pearse Mackle.

Dublin singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe will perform his song Forever Now.

All this and lots more on The Late Late Show, tomorrow night at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
