WOMAN RELEASED IN GALWAY DISSIDENT PROBE

A woman held in connection with a probe into dissident republican activity in Galway has been released without charge. The woman was among three people arrested on Wednesday night after commercial explosives and guns were seized by Gardai in Monivea and Tuam. A garda spokesperson has confirmed the woman, who's in her forties, was released from Garda custody late last night and a file is being prepared for the DPP. Two other men both in their forties are still being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
