Scullion play Bofin gig

Folk-rock group Scullion will release their new album, Time Has Made a Change in Me, in September. But well before that, they’ll be in Galway. They play an intimate gig next Thursday, June 16, in Murray’s Yard at Inishbofin’s Doonmore Hotel. It starts at 8pm.
Formed in the 1970s, Scullion are one of Ireland’s most innovative, original live bands. The current line-up includes original members, singer and multi-instrumentalist Sonny Condell and singer and harmonica player Philip King, along with longtime member, guitarist Robbie Overson, who joined in 1987.
■ Tickets, €25, from www.scullion.com or on the door. Check www.doon more. com for a special dinner-B&B rate for that night.
