New solo show from Tory Irvine
In These Moments, a solo exhibition from artist Tory Irvine will open this Friday, July 15, in Oughterard as part of the Oughterard Courthouse Arts Programme.
Tory, who is originally from Belfast and currently lives in Moycullen is an abstract artist who makes colourful energetic painting and collages that express her love for playful creativity, mark-making and contrast.
Her process is intuitive as she remains open to whatever happens 'In These Moments' and allows her paintings to unfold.
She describes each one as “a new discovery” about her art and herself as she uses her time in her garden studio to make sense of things and to capture the complexity of life in abstract and colourful language.
In These Moments will open this Friday from 7-9pm and continue to Sunday, July 24. The show is open to the public Monday to Saturday from 10am - 5pm and on Sundays from 12pm - 5pm. All are welcome.
