Hilarity and dance for all the family in Absolute Legends
Ridiculous dance duo, The Lords of the Strut, are bringing their hit fantasy adventure, Absolute Legends, to Galway’s Town Hall Theatre next Wednesday, February 19, starting at 4pm.
It’s a family-friendly show, suitable for children aged six and older.
World champion street performers and semi-finalists of the ITV series, Britain’s Got Talent, in 2017, Lords of the Strut are a dancing duo from Cork, who first started performing together in 2009.
In this fast-moving comedy show, they focus on Sean and Seamus – a pair of fame-hungry brothers who are determined create the perfect dance routine and who need help from the audience to do so.
The spandex-wearing duo are joined by a host of fantastic and bizarre characters as they create rocking moves, run into trouble, have several tantrums, cause mayhem and learn if fame is really what they’re seeking after all.
Lords of the Strut (Cian Kinsella and Cormac Mohally) have teamed up with the ground-breaking Dublin-based theatre and events company THISISPOPBABY for Absolute Legends.
The two groups first began working together in 2016 when THISISPOPBABY invited Cian and Cormac to take part in their hit show, RIOT. A fusion of theatre, dance, music and performance art, RIOT won best production at that year’s Dublin Fringe Festival and has since gone on to tour successfully at home and abroad.
