THREE hundred and fifty pupils in Moycullen had an unexpected day off yesterday (Wednesday) after their school was wrecked by vandals. It was the second time within 48 hours that a number of the windows in Scoil Mhúire were broken leaving the principal, Maurice Whelan, with no choice but to cancel classes for the day for health andsafety reasons.Yesterday, teachers and parents faced a major clean up as ten windows in the main school building were broken in, leaving broken glass strewn into toy boxes, classrooms and toilets. On Monday staff faced into the same chore as a number of windows were vandalised on Sunday night, early enough for Mr Whelan to be notified so he could organise them to be replaced duringthe day.
