TUAM COCA COLA STAFF REJECT COMPANY PROPOSALS

Staff at the centre of the Coca Cola jobs dispute in Tuam, Dublin, Waterford and Cork have unanimously rejected proposals put forward by the soft drinks giant.Staff balloted on the new proposals yesterday and today, and the vote was announced late this afternoon.It's understood the deal which was offered by Coca Cola, included a revised redundancy package, but no major changes to the outsourcing plans.Their plans which were announced last month, involve the outsourcing of 130 jobs, including 27 at the Coca Cola Tuam depot.
