Galway GAA club selling All Ireland Final Hurling tickets or new build home for just €50
It is going to cause a serious scramble for GAA fanatics in Galway who want to get their hands on the golden All Ireland final hurling tickets
One Galway GAA club is selling a pair of All Ireland Final Hurling tickets for just €50 - and if you don’t win those you might just win yourself a new build house instead.
Oranmore Maree GAA One Club’s WinahomeGalwayCity.com which was launched last year to soaring success has added on an extra bonus draw ahead of the Galway v Limerick clash.
The top prize of a two-bed ground floor fully furnished apartment in Woodquay is now also being matched with a separate bonus draw which could see you win golden tickets for Sunday week.
Tickets purchased for these draws are all going towards their fundraiser to develop facilities at their new state-of-the-art Renville Gaelic Grounds with the main draw for the house taking place on August 23.
But before that, GAA fanatics have the chance to win two All Ireland hurling final tickets plus an overnight stay in The Croke Park Hotel the night before the match.
Entering the Hurling Final tickets draw will also guarantee you five extra tickets for the Win a Home entry too.
All you have to do is head over to the Win A Home Galway City website and buy your ticket before the bonus draw closes at 11pm on Tuesday July 14th.
Clubs all around Galway have already been inundated with requests about All Ireland Final Hurling tickets as the scramble for fans to get their hands on one has begun.
Most clubs - like Ballinderreen Hurling and Camogie Club - still have not received information regarding allocation of tickets and how many they will receive.
They confirmed on their social media that they “anticipate that we will be doing a draw for the tickets” as the only fair way of distributing, telling members of the club to submit their interest before July 9 at 9pm.
Most clubs in Galway will be following a similar process with strictly club members only being allowed to enter draws or register interest in getting a ticket.
Here are the only possible ways to get a Hurling Final ticket as none will be able through general sale on Ticketmaster or through Centra or Supervalu.
If you’re a season ticket holder, you can put the feet up and smile as you watch the rush happen all around you.
There are a few things you have to check to make sure you can purchase the final ticket through your season ticket though.
An obvious one but still, your county must reach the Final - so if you have a Mayo season ticket and fancy going to the hurling or helping out a neighbour, that is not possible.
You must have purchased all your 2026 Championship tickets through your online season ticket account and you need to have bought a minimum of five championship matches to qualify - that is the case whether you manage one or more than one season ticket on your account.
If you don’t have a season ticket, your only other hope is to get one through your club.
Each County Board in Ireland receives an allocation of tickets for both the football and hurling finals.
Competing final counties receive the largest and most significant of the allocations and these are filtered down to their clubs and to club members.
It might be worth buddying up with a Mayo neighbour or Louth, Kerry, Dublin friend and promising them the same in return if they can sort you out with a hurling ticket from their club.
Otherwise - best of luck, happy hunting and may the odds be in your favour.
