SECOND MAN APPEARS BEFORE THE COURTS ON CITY DRUGS SEIZURE

A second man has been remanded in custody charged in connection with a major cannabis seizure in the city this week.

26 year old, Alan Ward of 46 St. Finbar's Terrace, Bohermore, faces two charges under Section 3 and Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Yesterday, 21-year-old David Wilson, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody at Galway District Court in connection with the same incident.

He's charged with possessing a quantity of cannabis and having the drugs for sale or supply at the same house.

David Wilson is further charged with the same two drug offences in relation to an address at Murrough on the Dublin Road on the same date.
