Stunning home in exclusive estate spans more than 400 square metres
This is an extensive residential property set on an elevated site just off the N59 Galway to Moycullen Road at Bushypark.
On a 0.92-acre site, Number 8 Ard An Locha is a 400 square metre home nestled amongst other family homes.
The cobble lock driveway leads to the front door via granite steps and continues to the rear courtyard giving rear access to the house and access to the elevated deck and front balcony.
Also on site is a garage block which is currently laid out to provide a three-room office suitable for any multi-employee home office space or as accommodation for an au pair. At ground floor level it provides a traditional garage.
The grounds have been meticulously planted and finished all across the 0.92-acre site and will return to full glory with regular maintenance.
Accessing through the granite staircase to the front, you enter the upper floor which comprises the living accommodation. This accommodation is primarily made up of the large open plan space housing the kitchen, the lounge and the dining area.
The lounge area is a large space with a cut stone fireplace with inset stove and overlooks the grounds via a floor to ceiling feature bay window.
The kitchen, which sits as an island in the middle of this floor, allows for complete interaction across the living space and provides a large modern kitchen fully fitted set beyond a solid timber boundary, which breaks up the solid porcelain floor and the large vaulted ceilings which are a feature of Number 8.
The dining area, which could easily accommodate the largest of dinner parties or seasonal family get-togethers, overlooks a large balcony accessed via floor to ceiling French doors.
