A total of 800 people passed through the doors of the showhouse at the new Ross Allta development in Rosshill on the eastern side of the city last weekend.

A total of 16 detached houses will be built on the 8.5-acre site off the Coast Road from the city to Oranmore, ranging in size from 237 square metres to 284 sq m. The showhouse is one of seven included in Phase 1.

Selling Agent Alan Maxwell said he was delighted with the level of interest at the launch.

“People recognised the quality of homes that are on offer here we’re very happy with sales to date. We still have some availability in Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be coming on stream in 2020,” he said.

Mr Maxwell said there was a constant stream of traffic along the road all afternoon last Saturday and Sunday, with more than 800 people in total visiting the showhouse.

Mairead Leonard of DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard New Homes, said: “’Amazing’, ‘stunning’ and ‘beautiful’ were the most common words used to describe this magnificent showhouse by those who came to browse. It’s a substantial property, measuring 284 sq m.

“We knew we had something special to show people last weekend and we weren’t wrong! The feedback was incredible from the design to the décor – everything was positive,” she said.
