Family homes and potential investment properties set for auction

Details have been released on O’Donnellan & Joyce’s next auction, which will see a large selection of family homes and potential investment properties go under the hammer on November 13.
Auction Co-ordinator Anne Harding said: “There are a large number of family homes both in the city and around the county, as well as many investment properties in areas like Limerick, Tipperary, Mayo and Donegal as well as Galway. There will also be a number of apartment blocks, as well as some retail and commercial units.”
Among the properties included in the catalogue are:
Carrowkeel, Kiltullagh. Superb four-bed dormer bungalow standing on a half-acre of mature gardens. This is a fine family home that is located within 10 minutes of the Kiltullagh exit off the motorway. The Advised Minimum Value is €160,000. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am to 12pm.
26 Eden Park, Loughrea. An impressive, owner-occupied family semi with four sizeable bedrooms. It is presented in walk-in condition and coming complete with carpets, curtains, blinds, light fittings and a range of superior quality appliances. It enjoys large gardens to the front and rear that are professionally designed and meticulously maintained. The AMV is €135,000. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm.
Ballagh, Bushypark. Located on an elevated site with superb views of Lough Corrib, this unique three-bed property was constructed in 1950 and offers the purchaser a chance to extend (subject to planning permission). It is just minutes from NUIG and UHG. The AMV is €250,000. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am to 12pm.
63 Foster Court, Galway. A fine four-bed semi-detached property presented in walk-in condition. The property is owner occupied at present, however because of its wonderful city centre location, it has excellent rental potential. The AMV is €270,000. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am to 12pm.
1 Court Avenue, Woodquay, Galway. Located directly behind the Town Hall Theatre and close to the Courthouse, this is one of a terrace in ‘Old Galway’. The property is in need of refurbishment, but this two-bed has huge potential and would make an ideal starter home, a home to retire to or a gilt-edged investment property. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
19 Presentation Road, Galway. A fine four-bed (all en suite) property located within walking distance of NUIG and UHG. It is in need of some upgrading. This could also make an investment property because of its proximity to the city centre. The AMV is €230,000. Open viewings on Wednesdays and Saturdays 2pm to 3pm.
