PORTUMNA DEVELOPMENT HALTED BY BATS

A major development of apartments, shops and offices in Portumna has been halted by bats.John Hickey was given the go-ahead by the County Council for 43 apartments with retail and office space at St. Brendan's Street.However the Department of the Environment has appealed this decision to An Bord Pleanala.
