PLANNING BOARD APPROVES MIXED USE LOUGHREA DEVELOPMENT

A mixed use Loughrea development has been given the go-ahead following an appeal to an Bord Pleanala.
The phased project at a site in Gorteenapheebera on the Old Dublin Road was granted approval subject to a list of 19 revised conditions.
The project by Pharaway Properties Limited involves a mixed-use recreational and light industrial/employment development of over 10 thousand 700 square metres in gross floor area.
This comprises a 2-storey indoor play facility/sports centre, incorporating a multipurpose indoor arena, studios, fitness rooms and community activities.
