ORANMORE MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO SMASHING CAR IN KILKENNY

A settled traveller from Oranmore who smashed up a car with a metal bar while his mother and sister were sitting inside, has been remanded on continuing bail for sentence.Michael Ward of 82 French Park, Oranmore, pleaded guilty at Kilkenny district court to criminal damage at Newhouse, Thomastown, County Kilkenny on February 16th, 2008.The judge said he was seriously considering a custodial sentence and remanded Michael Ward on continuing bail to appear before Kilkenny District Court on October 20th.
