WORK TO START ON KINVARA SEWERAGE SCHEME IN 2010

Work on a new sewerage scheme for Kinvara is to begin in 2010.Consultants have been appointed and are preparing a Design Review Report and contract documents for the scheme.According to North West MEP Jim Higgins, thousands of tonnes of raw sewage are discharged into Kinvara Bay every day.He says he is glad that work is progressing on the scheme and that it should be complete in the next couple of years.
