WORK TO RESUME ON ART HOUSE CINEMA IN CITY

Date Published: 23-Mar-2011

Construction on an Arthouse cinema in the city is expected to resume within weeks after a delay of almost a year.

City officials have approved plans to demolish a pre-Famine house next door to the site at No.16 Merchant's Road and build a similar house in its place.

Construction on the Art Cinema was halted after excavations damaged No.16.
