Work to recommence at Maree road Oranmore

The widening of the road and improved pedestrian safety measures at Maree road, were due to be completed by the end of January.However, work on the section of the road near Oranhill, came to a halt due to flooding and issues regarding land acquisition.However, a spokesperson for the County Council says the issues have now been resolved and work will recommence shortly.The road works are expected to take 6 to 8 weeks to complete.
