WORK TO BEGIN ON LONG AWAITED KILRONAN HARBOUR DEVELOPMENT

Newly elected Mayor of County Galway, Peter Feeney will preside over the official turning of the first sod on the Cill Rónain Harbour development tomorrow. [Fri 20/6]The project, costing 40 million euro, will provide year-round shelter and much improved berthing facilities for all those using the Aran Island harbour.The ceremony will take place at Cill Rónáin Pier with Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Éamon Ó Cuív, turning the first sod at 2.30pm tomorrow.
