WOMAN TAKEN TO UHG FOLLOWING SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

A woman has been taken to University Hospital Galway following a single vehicle crash on the Gort side of Kilcolgan.The crash happened at around 3 o'clock this afternoon near Kiltiernan.Traffic is seriously backed up and is now down to 1 lane, but Gort Gardai and Gort Fire Service are currently trying to clear the scene.The woman has been taken by ambulance to UHG but her injuries are not thought be serious.
