WOMAN STILL HELD OVER OUGHTERARD MURDER

Gardai in Galway are continuing to question a woman in her 50s in connection with the murder of John Kenny.
The 56 year old teacher and publican was found dead at his pub in Oughterard on September 25th.
Post mortem results found he died of a violent assault.
Meanwhile, a 37 year old Romanian man is due back before Harristown District court today, in connection with the killing.
Last weekend the man was remanded in custody after he was charged with withholding information in the case.
