WOMAN DIES IN CLARETUAM COLLISION

A woman has died after she was involved in a four car collision on the N17.
The crash happened on the close to the Cloonmore bridge at Claretuam, Tuam, Co. Galway at about 4.45.It's understood the woman was in her late late 60s or 70s,
A number of other people received minor injuries.The road at the scene is closed to a facilitate a forensic collision examination of the area.
Motorists are adivsed to avoid the road completely.
Galway traffic should divert via Corrofin and Tuam traffic use the Athenry road.
