WESTDOC POSTPONES CONNEMARA ROLL OUT

Galway Bay FM News has learned that the Westdoc emergency weekend doctor system will not be extended to west Connemara next month as was first planned.Westdoc management has decided to hold further talks on the issue after meeting with a community deputation in an Cheathrua Rua yesterday.There was a community outcry against the plan to have one doctor covering a wide area of west Connemara on ten weekends during the year.
